The “Customize Portals” section gives you total control over the look and feel of your dental practice web portal(s).
For each portal, you can view the domain name and major high-level settings that identify the target market for which this site is optimized – the primary dental market and geographic markets. To change these settings, just click on the “Change” links. You can also see your current portal design choice, your primary office location and other details.
You manage the content of your dental portal(s) through the “Customize Portals” section of the IDA Control Panel. You can set up home page features, add promotions and special offers, select dental articles, add an office tour or smile gallery, and many more features.
The information in the “Customize Portals” section is different from that in the “Locations” section. If you have multiple locations and web portals, this is a really important distinction – and it’s one that gives you powerful flexibility.
In your IDA Control Panel, all of the geographic locations associated with your dental practice are listed under “Practice Locations.” The control panel works the same whether your practice has only one location or dozens of facilities.
You’ll also see how many web portals are associated with each location. Changing information here, in the “Locations” level, will automatically update your location information on your find-a-dentist portal listings, but if you are trying to change the content that appears on a particular portal, go to the “Customize Portals” section.
Your dentist web portal(s) will display the information you’ve entered in the “Customize Portals” section. You dental directory listings will pull the information you’ve entered in the “Locations” section.
